In this season of winter and all that is going on currently in our world, it is a good idea to find natural remedies that help boost the immune system and increase a sense of well being.

Here are some simple recipes with essential oils you can make at home:

Immune System Support Blend

Use in 2 oz size amber or blue cobalt bottle to protect the oils

8 drops Thyme
8 drops Basil
7 drops Oregano
7 drops Lavender
7 drops Clove
Almond, jojoba or olive oil

Mix essential oils in 30-50 drops of almond, jojoba, or olive oil in small 1-2 oz amber or cobalt blue glass bottle, can use an essential oil bottle or a dropper type bottle, make sure the bottle is amber or cobalt blue to protect the oils from changing chemistry if around heat or temperature changes. Shake well apply 3-5 drops on bottom of feet, on wrist or palm of hands, or chest area. (note - thyme is a strong oil and is applied to chest area may cause a detox effect, use starting with small amount) great to use before bed and up to 3x a day if needed. To fill up a larger size bottle double the recipe, enjoy!

Freshen Up Your Clothes: Laundry Tip

Choose a favorite essential oil: lavender, basil, ylangylang, etc. Feel free to combine a few! Put 10-20 (if using multiple oils use 5 drops of each) drops of oil on a used old washcloth you don't mind having oils on, throw in dryer with clothes to add a fresh scent. Lavender and basil are antibacterial oils and will help clear any bacteria on the clothes and in the dryer too.
